
Forrest Holbert is a studio artist and graphic designer whose talent encompasses a diverse range of media, including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, trompe l’oeil, prints, and digital media. Notably, he has ventured into a style of optical illusion drawing that creates the illusion of three-dimensional images. In his leisure time, Forrest engages in painting, drawing with pencil and charcoal, and utilizing digital media such as the iOS Brushes Redux application. Additionally, he contributes to the enhancement of my personal website. As a student of printmaking at the Corcoran College of Art & Design, Forrest was awarded the Neil Jenny scholarship and subsequently earned a certificate in printmaking in May 2015. Subsequently, he pursued graphic design studies at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA), where he initially learned website design using Adobe Dreamweaver.
As a graphic designer, he possesses expertise in creating logos, brochures, websites, illustrations, and other branding materials utilizing the Adobe Creative Suites: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and InDesign. Forrest earned his associate’s degree in graphic design in May 2019. During a summer internship at Thompson Hospitality in Reston, Virginia, he designed graphics and executed marketing materials for various dining events. Presently, he volunteers with Special Olympics Virginia in Fairfax, Virginia, designing and executing projects for the Special Olympics’ upcoming events.
